My question concerns the problem of getting the panel that abuts the hinged portion of the two vents on the top of the dome to seal. I have made it a point of attempting to seal this spot in numerous ways, both aluminum tape and the clear tape that is supplied with the dome. I was on top of the dome doing this in October as I also cleaned off the panels. Now it looks like one of the taped seams has come undone - I guess a strong wind contributed to the failure. Now I think I will be using some good tape from the inside of the dome as a temporary fix until there is an opportunity to get back on the dome.
Any other ideas -- developments? |
